Since the Krusader team has lack of free time to write new code due to many private and professional obligations, we need are looking for new developers to continue the Krusader development.

Skills: C++, Qt, KDE

Source code: http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/utils/krusader/

About Krusader
Krusader is a simple, easy, powerful, twin-panel file manager (commander-style) for KDE and other *nix desktops (All POSIX, All BSD, Mac OS X with macports.org, and experimental port for Windows).

Please contact Frank Schoolmeesters for more information

Well i like to help,but i think it might be intresting to point out what to begin with for new comers to development.

for example the only valuable information i found in website/wiki was that you were using kdevelopment.
i downloaded it from synaptic(ubuntu) and well opening the project file failed.
after some bug reports and...i found out i should use the beta.(well this info could have saved me 3-4hrs)

also catagorizing feature requests and bugs by their degree of how hard it is to develop like what wine project does.

anyway for now i am just messing with code to make myself familiar with it.
tnx

Hi,

Sorry to hear, but if there is a problem with http://www.kdevelop.org/ than it's up to them or Ubuntu to inform you. Since I'm not a developer and don't use Kdevelop I'm also unaware of it.

In the future (a new Krusader website witch is under development) we will use trac http://trac.edgewall.org/ witch is much better, the Sourceforge bugtracker is missing several features (we know).

Please join Krusader devel mailing list for more questions. http://www.krusader.org/lists.php

Thanks and bye
